Fatty acids from fish may lower breast cancer risk (June 27, 2013 - Insidermedicine) From China - A new report published in the BMJ finds that fatty acids from fish may reduce risk of breast cancer. Researchers conducted a meta-analysis comprised of 26 studies, 800,000 individuals and over 20,000 cases of breast cancer. Results showed that those who consumed the most n-3 polyunsaturated fatty acids from fish were at 14% reduced risk of breast cancer compared to those who consumed the least.
