Changes in woman (September 25, 2014 - Insidermedicine) From London - A new report published in BMJ Open finds that changes in a woman's waist over time may raise risk of breast cancer. Researchers studied nearly 93,000 postmenopausal women taking part in a long term study. At the outset of the study, participant's had their height and weight recorded, and were asked about their risk factors for breast cancer. They were then asked about their skirt size when they were in their 20s. Results showed going up one skirt size every 10 years raised risk of breast cancer after menopause by 33%.
