In the Spotlight, we feature Dr. Don Weaver from Dalhousie, a leading researcher in Alzheimer's disease and epilepsy.

Dr. Weaver is a rare breed -- a Neurologist, computational chemist and an entrepreneur.  A self-described “addict” to creating new drug treatments, Dr. Weaver is using high-speed computers to create and screen for novel treatments for Alzheimer’s disease and Epilepsy.

Dr. Weaver holds a Canada Research Chair in Clinical Neuroscience, is a Professor of Neurology and Chemistry at Dalhousie University and holds over 75 patents.
