Moderate coffee consumption may lower risk of Alzheimer's disease
Moderate coffee consumption may lower risk of Alzheimer (December 1, 2014 - Insidermedicine) From the Netherlands - A new report presented at the 2014 Alzheimer Europe Annual Congress finds that moderate coffee consumption by lower risk of Alzheimer's disease. Researchers found that moderate coffee consumption, or 3-5 cups of coffee a day, was associated with a reduced risk of developing Alzheimer's disease over a 4 year study period. This effect diminished however, the longer the the follow-up period lasted.
