This week In the Spotlight we feature Dr. Kaveh Shojania, an expert on patient safety issues. He is a researcher at the Ottawa Health Research Institute and holds a Canada Research Chair in Patient Safety and Quality Improvement.

Dr. Shojania is also the author of Internal Bleeding, a startling book that documents and analyses the medical errors that are sometimes made in North American practice - a book that peaked at number 11 on Amazon’s best-seller list.
