On a recent trip to Hong Kong, we met up with Professor William l Wei, who is a Li Shu-Pui Professor and Chair of Surgery at the University of Hong Kong Li Ka Shing Faculty of Medicine.  Professor Wei is an ear, nose and throat specialist and his innovations in surgical methods for head and neck cancer has allowed patients who have tried conventional treatments without success to undergo surgical resection to recover, and to subsequently lead normal lives.
