Following stroke, women have worse quality of life than men
Following stroke, women have worse quality of life than men (February 10, 2014 - Insidermedicine) From North Carolina - Women have a worse quality of life following a stroke than men, according to a report published in Neurology. Researchers studied over 1,300 individuals between the ages of 56 and 77 years. All participants had had a stroke and had their quality of life measured at 3 months, and then 12 months post-stroke. Results showed that, even after taking into account factors such as the strokes severity, women fared worse following their stroke than men
