From Boston - Blood glucose measurements help predict risk of heart disease in diabetic patients, according to a report published in the Archives of Internal Medicine. Studying over 35,000 men and women, researchers found that measuring hemoglobin A1C levels in those who had diabetes greatly improved heart disease risk predictions.

From Alabama - A new report published in Pediatrics finds that children with ADHD are less adept at crossing the street safely. Researchers studied nearly 80 children, half of whom had ADHD. They found that while the children with ADHD stopped and looked both ways before crossing the street, they were more likely to cross when there was little spare time to do so.

And finally, from St. Louis - Frequent falls may be an early sign of Alzheimer's disease, according to a report presented at the Alzheimer's Association International Conference. Studying brain scans of over 125 older individuals, researchers found that those who had higher levels of amyloid plaques had over 2x increased risk of falls
