Colds during pregnancy linked to asthma in child
Colds during pregnancy linked to asthma in child (February 5, 2014 - Insidermedicine) From Illinois - A new report published in the Annals of Allergy, Asthma and Immunology finds that colds during pregnancy may be linked to asthma in the child. Researchers studied over 500 pregnant women and their children, following participants at 3 and 12 months, and then annually until they were 5 years old. Results showed that children of mothers who had more common colds and viral infections during pregnancy were at higher risk of asthma.
